The Greeks, and especially the Thessaloniki locals, are still living under the strong influence of this strong historical character. The statue is placed by the sea, in a very busy and lively area. Worth a short visit. Outside statue, no entrance fee or line.

Great monument. A must see on the boardwalk. Day and night it is worth a visit. Park benches near by to chill as well.

came across the sculpture while walking next to the water at Thessaloniki on a really hot summer day. The sculpture was breathtaking and unexpected.

The beautiful display of the Great Alexander sculpture made by Evangelos Moustakas in the 70ties. The open sea square is open wide with many points to take a great shot. TIP: not many people at the pic high temperatures if you need human less photos.

We went walking by the long promenada next to the waters of Thessaloniki ... and saw this breathtaking statute of Alexander the Great. It is just memorable site in Greece! Must Visit and to get a few photos next to Alexander!
