We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's a great thing to visit up and down the port and it's even better when they organize events or live concerts in that area. Like this Tattoo Convention!

I really enjoy this part of the town at all times of the day. It's great to have a calm walk and get some rest to read a book or take some photos. It has a great view of the town. You will find people of all ages there. At nights you may hear teens or students playing music and laughing. It's a great place to grab a beer and chat with your friends by the sea. You may also enjoy some exhibitions in some of its warehouses. And don't forget the International Film Festival it hosts every year which is definitely worth a visit.

A perfect place to be! A great historical place to walk around and enjoy a drink! The problem is the broken lights that don’t enlighten the whole restoration project of the historical area

Until 1942, when the Nazis transported nearly the whole Jewish community to death camps in Poland, this city and its port were the home to approximately 60,000 men, women and children. in a few months 96% of this vibrant historic commynity was destroyed.
At the old port today, on Freedom (Liberation) Square there is a small monument in the memory of these innocents.
Also at the old train , where these people were herded onto cattle cars and sent away to their deaths, albeit abandoned today there is a small plaque. Small gestures for such an enormous crime and tragedy for the city. Much remains to be done to keep this terrible loss in the minds of citizens and guests.

A clear recommendation in bright sunshine in November. Great 'viewpoints' of Thessaloniki and not too crowded. There are enough places to 'chill' and the location is absolutely central.

It's the 24th of September and the temperature is 32 degrees. Summer continues here and the area around Thessaloniki Old Port is full of lively young people and tourists. They created a very beautiful place.
