Taken here on the daily cruise boats. Would not have wanted to miss this experience as this is where the Submarine lay hidden from the enemy during World War Two.

Try going with a small boat, or even a kayak. The cave is big enough to accommodate a larger vessel, but the feeling is completely different.

Visited the cave as part of a day cruise with Makedonia Palace. You go close enough for some nice pictures but unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to swim which would have been incredible!

Papanikolis Cave is an awesome place for a swim! It's located on the west coast of the island Meganisi, south-east of Lefkada. It can be easily reached by boat from the port of Nydri.
