The church is located in the center of Old Town and surrounded by tourist souvenir shops and hordes of tourists, thus my expectations were fairly low. I was pleasantly surprised. A beautiful little church which is a true church for the local township. Nice art...More

Dominates the landscape with a lovely bell tower which is beautifully lit up at night. Inside is an impressive ceiling and lots of icons around. The tomb of St Spiridon can be visited but be mindful and respectful of those Greeks actually visiting of proper...More

While spending much of the day wandering through Corfu's Old Town during our second visit to the island of Corfu, we came upon the Church of Saint Spiridon. It is located in a long, narrow laneway which is also home to a host of small...More

This place makes me wish I understood more about the Orthodox religion. It is, nonetheless, a welcome opportunity to break away from the cruise ship hordes and give thanks for the opportunities we have to share in other people's experiences.

This is a really pretty church in the heart of Corfu Old Town. It stands out in the skyline once you are in the old quarter and well worth a visit. You do not have to be religious to enjoy the splendour of this place....More

If you ever visit Corfu, you are going to hear stories about Saint Spiridon, the one who saved this island from horrible diseases and misfortune. Its a good place to visit if you are religious but also wanna hear some extra stuff about Corfu.

Just a very short walk from the Liston, the church's bell tower is one of the town's most iconic landmarks. As you amble down a narrow street full of souvenir shops selling everything from football shirts and sponges to kumquat liquor and religious iconography, it...More

It's an old church in the center of Corfu town, easy to reach, where you can have a breath of warm air between its nice decorated walls.

The icons, the painted ceiling, the iconostasis, the reliques of Agios Spyridon. This is a place not to be missed. The shop of the church has, among other items on sale, icons and interesting books on the Corfù churches.

You can only walk there actually the church is located to the old town so there are no roads only around the old city. You can take a bus possible- if there is - to Liston and from there is only 3 min walking distance
