The icons, the painted ceiling, the iconostasis, the reliques of Agios Spyridon. This is a place not to be missed. The shop of the church has, among other items on sale, icons and interesting books on the Corfù churches.

Away from the glare of the sun, the dark peaceful interior is wrapped in dark wood carving, classic religious imagery and dripped in extravagant silver. The casket containing the relics a particular focus. A must see.

Many people who were visiting while we were there were very emotional being in this church. We are not orthodox but enjoyed seeing the architecture. St. Spiridon's remains are in a casket in the church.

I went to this church during a visit to Corfu Town. It is quite dark inside Architecture is fantastic. No photography is allowed inside, but many people attend. There are many icons to see, well worth a visit, recommended.

It is a small church in the middle of old town of Corfu. There is a body of saint Spiridon. People in Corfu believe that he protects town. It was interesting visit.

A 17th-century church filled with striking paintings and vivid icons, as well as silver chandeliers suspended from its high ceiling. The dark wood furnishings and subdued lighting give a reverent feel to this Orthodox sanctuary. In a small room behind the iconostasis, resides the ornate...More

You can only walk there actually the church is located to the old town so there are no roads only around the old city. You can take a bus possible- if there is - to Liston and from there is only 3 min walking distance
