Great visit. Free to explore ancient city that has been thoughtfully excavated and restored. Very quiet surprisingly given the importance of the site

Firstly, the place has loads of potential owing to its history. Secondly, this potential is not used at all. The place features three (!) information boards in total and those suit the taste of C20 visitors rather than those of C21. It does not mean...More

We were amazed on our first visit but unfortunately on the second vist the health and safety police have been let loose, covering over some of the amazing drainage system which we were so impressed by first time. Still very worth a visit though.
