We looked for the park on signs almost everywhere and nothing...Finally found the entrance to the park but wow what a mess!I think the park isn't cleaned for several years, messy, trash, fallen branches,a carpet of cone pines on all walkways,no signs no lights, just some duks and a dirty water.Pitty ,it could be a beautiful park, but nobody has interest in this place.Lost half... Rated as a main attraction near to Rhodes town, we took the 40 minute walk only to be confronted with a very overgrown, poorly kept and thoroughly underwhelming place. It's free, and luckily for us was a nice Sunday morning stroll - but not worth dedicating any of your time towards.

I would advise anyone thinking of visiting here not to...nature has completely taken over now with fallen trees, broken bridges and derelict structures, think Indiana Jones and you get the idea. The river is green and stagnant and everything else is dry, dusty and overgrown. It was described in a book as the green lung of Rhodes and I'm sure... More

Hellenistic cave sanctuaries, an aqueduct used by Romans, Byzantines, Hospitallers, and Ottomans, and Italian landscape design. Today Nature reminds us that we aren't so separate from it, as footbridges collapse into the creek, landslides cover sections of trail, and vines cover old concrete installations. A testament to the absurdity of progress narratives, and gives one a glimmer of hope that... More

The beauty of this place is the fact that it is effectively abandoned and slowly reverting back to its wild state. You can still cleary see the hand of man but nature is slowly exerting it's will and claiming it back. I'm sure it was very beautiful in it's manicured state but I loved the deriliction and would love to... More

We went for a walk in the park, the first thing that strikes you is that how eerie it is, you can hear Peacocks calling to each other, it's how I would imagine Jurassic Park to be. Terrapins and Koi carp.thrive in the rivers and ponds, the bridges are usable but be careful. There's a small kiosk before you go... More

I have been coming to Rhodes for some years and it is true to say that I have seen the best of Rodini. A new visitor would be disappointed by the fact that some of the riverside paths are now overgrown and trees that have fallen due to age have not been cleared. However there are still some nice places... More

Perfect visit in the morning. I visited in October and hardly anyone was there. I enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the streams throughout the park and the gorgeous bridges in the park. There's also some benches you can relax on and enjoy nature. Located in the center of Rhodes Town, it's easy to get to and worth visiting.

Such a shame this has been left to disintegrate. This could easily be made into a real little haven in the city. There is such history here, and with a bit of upkeep and a few interpretation lecterns it could be a really nice place to visit. The footbridges are dangerous now and the stone walls are getting loose. Some... More

We reached the park after a very long walk from the city. The guide describes the park as a place with peacocks and daniel's, we have seen neither. The park is nice but no information, no benches, nothing. Dissapointment.
