If you go to Kos you definitely have to visit Asklepion. This old hospital is located 3 km of Kos city and entree is €8.

We have just stayed at the Kosta Palace on the harbour in Kos Town which we would highly recommend but there is lots of accomodation in that area for around £30 per night which you can check out on booking websites

Hi Alan. Unfortunately I can not help you. It was my first trip at the island. However if I were you I would ask where Antonas fish tavern is in Kos.
