A cave with an incredible set of colors. The water is really light blue and the sun light creates marvelous effects

I took a boat ride to the Blue Grotto and due to moon and high tide the entrance was very narrow, swam into the grotto through a narrow gap and was in awe once inside - cavernous and almost breathtaking with amazing shades of blue, the water is crystal clear - a wonderous experience

My friend, 72, and I went in a small dingy with George. He was very informative. The coast line is sheer, the water almost smooth, the weather was really hot. George slowed the boat and asked up to lay in the bottom. We were outside the cave but the cliff was almost completely to the top of the waves. So... More

Once you get to Kastellorizo, all you have to do is just walk around the harbor, look for a sign or talk to any of the people who are there with boats, and book your trip into the Blue Cave. The price will depend on how many people are in the boat; most are small boats and 4 people would... More

Blue, blue, blue cave. The big blue. A place so surreal but also so real as if a place out of this world.

WOW, I have never experienced such a thing in my life. Kostas took myself and my husband on the trek to the grotto. After about 15 minutes and a sore behind (from the waves) we arrived at the caves opening. Looking at the entrance to the cave, my husband became a little claustrophobic as the entry was non existent. We... More

When visiting Kastellorizo make sure you take the 20 minute fast RED boat trip to visit The Blue Cave for a fare of 10 Euro each. You can arrange a booking for this by seeking out Cristina who can be found on the harbourside. Antois Patinotis skippers the small open RED boat from the harbour in Kastellorizo down to the... We ended up coming to the cave twice on our trip to Kastellorizo, well worth it! The boat trip down can get a bit choppy, but the spectacular views of the island more than make up for it. The cave itself is SPECTACULAR! Such a pretty blue - and you can swim in it. There is a bit of a... More
