It is best to visit the monastery during visiting hours in the afternoon 3:30 - 7:30 pm and lite a candle. Mandonna Tourliani is quite famous for many miracles.

This is a very old monastery with lots of ornate artifacts and mosaics inside. It has a great collection of silver and old furniture along with the relic of Our Lady of Assumption. The ceiling is worth seeing if for no other reason. It's not...More

A beautiful monastery, not very big, try and visit when there are no coach tours. The collection of silver is stunning, as are the religious artefacts. When you come out of the monastery courtyard, turn left up the hill and check out the well kept...More

This was on our excursion from the boat. Quite a let down. Nothing much at all to see. Some good photo ops but overall skip it if you have other stuff to do.

We only went to the Monastery as on our way back to our hotel after a day out and was recommended in the guide book. Not really worth making a special trip to see.

Myukonos is plenty of churchs and monasteries, but in this place you can see a enormous quantity of marble over the walls, something you can't imagine outside Acropolis.
