I have never been in hot spring before and it was definitely worth experience. Water was very warm. The spring was shallow, so you had to lay down. Bottom was fine sand. The spring vas quit little so it was good that we visited there off-season. There was a little pit algae and some crabs crawled on stones, witch I... More

We supposed to spend just one night at Kithnos on our sailing trip through the greek islands but the place is a kind of magical and peaceful, so we just stayed there (Loutra) for 5 days. Not really easy to describe why...but we felt really confortable there. Of course the thermal water spring was a plus but the people as... More

although Kithnos is know to be a pretty "boring" island I would recommend going there and spending a day or two but mostly - a night. If you go to the hot springs at night you will find one of the most magical, relaxing places on earth (could be exaggerating ;) ). The bolders form a "Jacuzzi" formation just on... More

Well we just went to the free spa outside. It's filled with people who seem to want to boil in it and don't want to share... But I squirmed in for a few minutes just to get the sensation of this earth heated water on my body. It was very cool...errr... hot, which was an experience since it's only blocked... More

great island. I was surprised at how close the Cyclades in Athens. Quiet, nightlife if you want. Very beautiful beaches. Beautiful.

calm village, on the beach and a small dock were you can tie your boat. 4-5 tavernas on the beach and 2 bars on the beach too! A small supermarket and the best hotel in Kythnos (for me) Porto Klaras.

We only went to the natural springs that are free. There is a certain area at the sea where the hot springs fall. People stand there and get a free spa treatment. I guess it was a good experience given that we did not pay anything.

Beautiful. We got up early to sit in the hot springs and watch the sun rise. Unforgettable experience. No one was around, nice quiet morning in the hot springs.

Super place to relax. Water runs down in a purpose built channel from the thermal spa source area (on which the baths building is built I'm guessing, only 100m further up the hill) and is collected in a rock-enclosed little paddling pool area where the hot spring water (about 45 degrees mixes with the sea water to make a nice...
