„We only have the view and the drinks“ - employee from Lyrarakis Winery It was our first wine tasting and we were absolutely stunned. The view was amazing. The free guided tour was funny and we learned a lot about Crete and the winery. Our guide was the best we could imagine. The tasting itself was romantic with soft jazz music, a stunning view and great snacks. We found our new favorite wine (ZaZaZu) and everything felt so calm and familiar. Irini, the woman who guided our tasting, had a lot of humor and know how. The little dog Dafni sat next to us and we had a fantastic afternoon/evening in the stunning wine gardens of Lyrarakis. We highly recommend. Thanks to Irini and the whole Lyrarakis Team.

Phenomenal winery--great wines and tasting cadence, they also accommodated our incorrect booking date! The vineyard is the most beautiful we visited between both Crete and Santorini, and they're in the middle of olive farms so the olive oil was also the best that we tasted. Great recommendations for the remainder of our trip, too!

Everything was perfect. The tour of the vineyard was nice and informative. Immediately after we had the wine tasting. We chose 7 wines and they were all delicious. The wines were accompanied by some great food from Crete which was delicious as well. The wine tasting location was also perfect, as it has a beautiful view over the vineyard. Would definetely recommend if you're visiting Crete!

We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch with three glasses of one; one white, one rose, and one red. All were lovely, and our food was plentiful and delicious. The winery easily accommodate one of our party who is gluten sensitive and lactose intolerant. It was such a great afternoon! Highly recommend!

It was a pleasant experience, but it's only a cellar situated for tourists. The real winery is about 10 kilometers away. So the excursion that was proposed wasn't really interesting. The tasting was lovely, but we didn't get desired orange wine, even the opened bottle was in the fridge. For our luck, a very pleasant guy looked for this wine when we asked for it before buying. Sorry, didn't ask his name, but sending special thanks. Recommend tasting, if You want to feel special Cretian wine culture.

Very nice location in the middle of vineyards. We went without reservation and got the table. We choose 5 wines' tasting. In general I like more red wines but their rose was also very beautiful. I would have prefered dry sparkling in the end, semi-sweet was offered. May be good with dessert or instead of dessert. What was really below bar - 2 canned and stuffed olives from the cann (in Crete!!!), fortunately on the house. Crete sallad was good like always and pasta eas really perfectly cooked al dente. Did not buy any wines as not my favorites but experience was really nice.

We had some friends holidaying with us and wanted to show them different aspects of the island , this winery was recommended to me and we booked up for the 7 wines tasting and also preordered some food to accompany. Started with a little tour and a small educational on the vines , very interesting and also some knowledge on olive oil. The views whilst tasting your wines are stunning , it’s a lovely tranquil place , we had a lovely lady called Marina look after us and talk us through our wines . The quality of the food was amazing , fabulous flavours and presentation was excellent. We had one non drinker who drank grape juice and for the four of us with food our bill was €100 , not bad value for 7 wines and food . We spent just over 3 hours and we where not rushed to move along for the next arrivals . Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

We booked a picnick for two and a tour around the vineyard. What immediately stood out was the very kind personnel. They made us feel welcome and comfortable at once. We could take a look inside the building and enjoy the wonderful view outside. After the tour we had the picnick with lots of nice food, traditional greek. Very Lovely. With the wines there was explanation which food to pair it with. We definitely recommend going here :).

This is a must do when in Crete. The Picnic Experience was exceptional. Great food, great wine and fabulous views. We did this as an excursion from cruise port. We used the offered transfer service which was also exceptional. One of the best experiences of our trip. Staff at Lyrarakis was exceptional and my wine-loving husband even got to speak with the master winemaker.

It was beautiful and so so peaceful with an amazing view. Thank you Manos for your attentive service, your hospitality and the red wine you served us that stole my heart (aggelis). A place I will definitely visit again. Ps, met a friend there🐕
