Wow this is an extensive look into the archaeological site of Delphi. If you like history and/or archaeology this is a MUST SEE in Greece. It was amazing to see and the views from the archaeological area are just breathtaking. There is a lot of steep uphill walking with gravel and loose stone, so this is not for the very... More

You don't have to talk about Delphi and its ruins...You've only to visit It! All temples and buildings leave You really astounded, it seems that the Oracle is still living and acting there...

Beatiful piece of history, well preserved and cared by the greek people. The site was well organised and we could easily guide us through the ruins. The views from up are breathtaking. I want to go back.

An excellent museum next to amazing ruins. If you love history you will be enthralled with this place. Be aware that you start at the bottom of the ruins and everything is uphill. Make plenty of time to enjoy the museum. It is excellently laid out.

These excellent ruins are a short walking distance from the town. I agree with the other reviewers, that you should visit the museum first, then walk up the 'hill' to the stadium. All the signage is in English & Greek. After visiting this main ruins area, walk approx 1/2 down the highway to the second ruins; At the time i... More

One o the best ancient areas in Greece. The price of ticket isn't expensive. Really you should visit it. Be carreful for caterpillars (!) - thaumetopoea pinivora. Be far away from them becouse this may cause a nasty rash :-o

My wife and I visited Delphi on a G.O. Tours coach tour from Athens. Luckily instead of the 2 day option, we had added 2 extra days accommodation in Delphi, which gave plenty of time to see the two Delphi sites, The main site around the Temple of Apollo and the nearby Temple of Athena Pronaia, with the Tholos etc.... Weather plays a big part because this place is in the mountains. I was lucky because it was drizzling for the first 30 mins of my visit and the clouds cleared up for a beautiful afternoon. - I'm not a budget traveler but I like taking public transport whenever I can. I took a bus (KTEL: More information in TA... More
