Dr. Who fans will appreciate it when I say this museum is much larger on the inside than it is on the outside. We were amazed by the sprawling exhibit space and the sheer number of artifacts to explore. After focusing so much on prehistory...More

In a city with so much history it's no wonder these museums are overflowing with exhibits. It would take many months to take them in sufficiently mot the couple of hours we had. But even so they were hours well spent.

I was not very eager to enter this museum but after all it was very good, indeed! Very interesting, huge collection. In this museum it is easy to get a quick look inside a Byzantime culture in Greece. Highly recommend this to museum enthusiastics.

I liked the design of the museum itself and the way the path flowed towards through exhibits. There's a lovely cafe at the back with a very nice view. However like others have felt we felt as if our every move was watched

This is a massive museum dedicated to the history and art of the Byzantine empire. This might very well be the largest collection in one place, but I'm not sure. Having been to Byzantine churches all over the Middle East, I had a lot od...More
