Monopoly - Poor Value for Money

It has the look and feel of municipal golf course, but cost €62 for 18 holes. I guess you can charge what you like when you are the only golf course within 100 miles.

50 Euros is expensive for the standard of course. The members appear unable to repair any pitchmarks on the greens, hence are poor quality. The fairways are OK, although bare in some places. Bunkers have improved with better sand in some but not all. No real 19th hole, just a "trendy" overpriced bar/restaurant. However, as the closest courses are the... More

Met with golfer friends for a quick bite ! First time in my life I have been into a golf sport club restaurant and half of the customers were smoking ! Horible atmosphere . Its a disaster . If you are a golfer stay outside in the golf course . Never get iside !! Food quality /service terrible too !

Glyfada Golf course is the only course nearby Athens. The Greek people are no keen golfers. We played in March, off season, and paid Eur 50 per person plus Eur 10 for a trolley. The course was in very bad shape. No sand in the bunkers except a few - it was like concrete. Some greens were fast, some very... More

Athens has only one golf course: Glyfada. After playing on the best course of Europe (Costa Navarino, Greece), it's a big disappointment to play on Glyfada. We would call it in Spain a golf course "rustico". There is hardly any maintenance, greens and bunkers are bad. Greek players drive with the golf buggy over the edge of the green. But.....it's... Not overcrowded but fully equipped course... golf cars, golf clubs and professional golf instructors. The field is losing colors time to time , cause of generous Greek sun, but still well kept. Great place to play and have refreshing glass of wine after at local cafe.

I have been here to a sporting event, which didnt take place at the actual golf course. Very good courses if you are a golf player.
