The gallery has only 2 rooms open, showing a small collection of (mainly) Impressionist and Post-Impressionist style paintings and sculpture by Greek artists. The art is beautiful, and entrance is free. Maybe not worth making a special trip (as it is so small) but well...More

This museum was disappointing. There were very few artworks and they were badly curated. Also the man at the desk followed us around the museum like we were going to steal the paintings. A disappointing representation of Greek participation in 20th century western art!

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to the municipal gallery. The artwork was beautiful and intriguing. Also the guards must have changed since the bad reviews because they were all really friendly and gave us plenty of space.

The museum hosts paintings of artists created in the first half of the 1900's. It's a good and relaxing escape from the turbulent surrounding area. It's a very clean place and the fact the entrance is free is a big plus as well. The only...More
