This is the lical hang out spot.. lots of restaurants and the more upscale place for a bit of high end shopping. Kolonaki is not too far from syntagma square. Its really a clean and very nice more laid back area.

A lovely affluent area of Athens. Friendly locals. Lots of nice shops & eateries - chain and independent. Near Lycabettus Hill and near several nice hotels and restaurants. Several of Athens hospitals near to this area also. Its a lovely area to walk around.

Check out the roadside cafes. They bake their own breads! One can sit for hours and watch the traffic go by. The food is excellent and the people are warm. Don't miss this

Nothing special, no reason for any tourist to visit it. There's a small common and dirty square with 5 benches. Heavy traffic around, 2-3 cafe with iron chairs and small round tables confined with each other. Nothing interesting to see around, only some shoe or...More

off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually
coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a
