It's the main street of Plaka, downtown Athens. A typical greek place, with shops, cafes, tavernas and restaurants. Very close to metro stations and archaeological sites. Can get very crowded, watching your wallet its a must.

If you have some time to spend you can spend it here relaxing and taking in the smells and the sights of the small shops at the foothill of Acropolis. Greek coffee, souvlaki, Greek salad and Parthenon hovering over your head.

If you are really hungry, this has touristy restaurants and most are good value and tasty but nothing special. Walk down it once as an experience but avoid otherwise, full of those people who bother you with roses and bracelets etc.

Adrianou Street is located along Greek agora. We enjoyed the view over Parthenon and the restaurants such as Attalos and Kuzina.

If you are in the Plaka or the Ancient Agora and need a place to eat, this street has it all. I'm not sure about the souvenirs but the food was terrific.

We bought our souvenirs in this beautiful street. The number of shops were amazing and the selection of goods/items were stunning!

The main walking street in the Plaka District, chock full of eateries, bars and shops fir every taste and pocket book...just below the Acropolis. Picturesque with many different photo ops. Taste the thick Greek coffee or ouzo.

It's the most known street of Plaka, downtown in Athens. A picturesque place to be, with many shops, cafes, tavernas and restaurants, under the Acropolis. Very close to metro stations and archaeological sites.

Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains
the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay
and play. Its attractive features include small
squares, some notable museums and the beautiful
Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to
stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a
pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
