If you're in Athens you MUST see the Parthenon. It's a piece of timeless history that cannot be missed. It's habitually under renovation, loaded with people but a piece of history you cannot forgo. The stone work and columns are amazing! The view of Athens...More

Worth every step. Overlooking Athens, unbeatable views. My favourite part was that kids get free entry.

I highly recommend going early so as to avoid queuing under the greek heat. Of course the Parthenon is amazing and still under reconstruction.

Each building at the Acropolis tells a story and the sheer might of the remains is hard to take in. Anyone who misses The Acropolis on a trip to Athens is missing one of the world's most iconic historical landmarks without doubt

There are construction machines at the Parthenon (to help restore and preserve), but it is truly a beauty. Best is to come at almost closing time (sunset) when it's a bit cooler and watch the sun light up the Parthenon and Athens below.

The enormity of this place was overwhelming. I would highly recommend it. It is just amazing that it is still standing after all these years. The crowds were not fun but it was worth the wait.

Near the Acropolis, it has the same beauty. A beautifull place, a must visit if you end near Athens.
