We've all seen it in books/TV as a kid studying history. I just feel that anyone who goes to Europe (if you're not from there) should visit it once. It won't take all day, but it's a part of world history.

I had no idea how large it was going to be and that was so cool. Wishing we had a better tour guide as our tour lacked history and story telling to make the site come alive. But nonetheless, seeing this building in all its glory was really amazing.

I liked the fact that pieces that were restored were in a different colour so you could see the difference between the authentic stone and what they need to re-new to make the structure solid again.

The Pantheon sits atop the Acropolis and is a fantastic site to visit. It is a hard climb on a hot day and on the day of our visit it was 30 degrees. However, it is so worth the climb, The history is incredible and the 360 degree views of the city of Athens are breathtaking. We visited on a Tuesday morning and as we went to pay our 20 euro entrance fee, were told that it was free and we were handed two free tickets. Don't know if this a regular Tuesday thing, but may be worth asking. We arrived there at around 10.00 and it was VERY busy.

The tickets is more expensive than other attractions in Athens, but it definitely the best one by far. The view is amazing!!

Great to see but I would personally visit the Museum first, it gives an insight on what to expect.
Also wear sensible shoes as the ground is very uneven.

We went first thing in the morning, as soon as it opened. No crowds. The views are breathtaking-will be back!

So glad I have seen this place and glad that it is being restored. Beautiful views from the top. Quite a climb to the top but well worth it.

Iconic as always. Very busy and hot. We didn't wait a long time at the queue because we went on a Wednesday around 12-13 pm.
