I offer my strongest possible recommendation. Paul was extremely helpful with helping me plan my trip prior to my arrival. I am a history buff and wanted to see sites that weren't part of a specific tour. To Paul this was no problem and he tailored the trip specifically to my request. The tour was wonderful and his son Dmitri... More

We had a wonderful tour with Paul. There were 13 of us for a 9 hour tour. We started at the Acropolis and got there before the crowds. We went to see Hadrians Arch and wall, the Temple of Olympian Zeus - 16 columns left of 104. The changing of the Guard at Constitution Square the Royal Palace was very... More

The last leg of our trip was Athens.  It’s also the shortest leg of our trip – only 2 nights.    Needless to say our opportunity to enjoy Athens was very limited - every minute counts and importantly we want to end the vacation on a good note.   Well, my husband, 8 year old daughter and I had a fantastic... We take a tour to Aegina . In my opinion it was a not a good idea and the island and the beach are not interesting. But the Paul's tour is great! He is a good english speaker and knows a lot about Athens. The car is new and very safety! I really recomend the Greek taxi!

My husband and I recently visited Athens and really wanted to take a day trip to the Peloponnese region. We were debating between driving ourselves vs. a tour. Based on the reviews here, we were confident in booking with the company. We payed 250 euros for a day trip including Corinth canal, ancient corinth, mycenae, nafpolio, and the theater of... More

The tour we had to Delphi was made so fabulous was due to Paul Kalomaris. He was not only professional but most informative and interesting. Paul was also gracious. He was most knowledgable. I would recommend his tours. Our tour was on April 1, 2012. Shirley C. Munch Los Angeles, CA

During our recent trip to Greece we hired Paul Kalomiris to help us with airport-hotel transfers and several day trips from Athens (Corinth, Mycenae, Delphi, Marathon, Cape Sounion, etc.). Everything went smoothly and can’t say enough about how much we appreciated his professionalism and courtesy while he drove us around to various archeological and cultural sites in southern Greece. He... More

Having recently moved my family to Europe for work, we are determined to take every opportunity to visit new places, and often find ourselves booking very last-minute, short city getaways. This was the case with our recent visit to Athens. We found Paul through TripAdvisor, and after a few quick email communications, booked the airport-to-hotel transfer (which was very friendly,... Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
