This slippery hill above ancient agora was the place where apostle Paulus had speech for athenians. It is an important place of history. Fine views but very slippery rock.

The views that you get of the Acropolis from this hill are amazing. Please, be advised that it can be slippery. They have added a staircase that make access easier. Worth the visit.

I visited here on my first night in Athens by accident while roaming around. It's near the base of the Parthenon and a must while visiting.

I visited the Areopagus during my trip around the base of the Acropolis, mostly because I was interested in its history with the Apostle Paul. The top was covered in graffiti and trash, like much of Athens, but I'm still glad that I went.

A great way to spend a sunset on a day before or after your Acropolis visit. Similar views without paying the price of admission to the ruins again. You won't be alone... it's almost as much a social event as a lookout spot, but well...More

When you buy the pass to the Acropolis there are a lot of things included. You should aim to get there early so you can make the most of your tour. This site is included in that package. It's worth a look.
