Came for the walk through the vineyard

We stopped to tour the grounds were they have about 200 sculptures throughout the vineyard. Interesting walk but the prices seem outrageous (1000$ to 30,000$...) and most are very... read more

Not the worst but defintively not the best. Degustation is charged (commercial nonsense). The place is nice and people friendly but not savvy. Maybe in few years...

Unfortunately this one place was disappointing. We walked in and were immediately pounced on asking what we were there for and rushed into a wine tasting group where they were 2 tastings ahead of us and had to gobble down the 2 we had to catch up. I hated the fact that we were rushed and didn't even have time... More

We stopped to tour the grounds were they have about 200 sculptures throughout the vineyard. Interesting walk but the prices seem outrageous (1000$ to 30,000$...) and most are very strange in deed. However the walk was pleasant. Wished we had time to sample wines here or tried the food. Next time.

This vineyard is a part of Eastern Township wine route. It offers a quite large (comparable to some other neighboring vineyards) variety of sorts of wine - ice wines, rose and of course red and white. We took a 12 wine tasting offer and much liked most of them. Their Riesling and Blanc Ice wines are great. The explanation on... More

Wine was not to our liking. Had to wait for someone who speaks English although we were barely 20 miles from the border with VT. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the art/nature walk. Will return during the summer when they have a full exhibition of sculptures.

We visited Domaine des Cotes d'Ardoise and were very impressed with the selections of wines, as well as the service. There is something for everyone, including an art garden.

We were so fortunate to have Barbara, the winemaker, explain the intricacies of wine in this region and how it is produced. She is really a treasure -- an expert who is also an educator. And the sculpture exhibit is fun, too.
