Our group loved Valley Church beach. We went offseason in May so it was empty. Had shady spots for those of us that burn too. And The Nest is right there on the beach if you get hungry or thirsty. This was the nicest spot...More

Breathtaking views. Was lovely and quiet when we went, some days my daughter and husband and 14 month old grandaughter would go down early for swimming. Quite open if very hot. Sort of fine shell beach, absolutely lovely.

Just around the corner from jolly beach. Has a bar on the beach which we did not use. We visited on a day when a cruise ship was in port. Got there early and it was quiet and then the taxis and mini buses arrived...More

Claudia of 5 Senses is an absolute darling. Value for money is an understatement. One pays for B&B but receives dinner as well, constant flow of chilled beer, a car to your disposal and the icing on the cake: takes you for a beach picnic...More

Beautiful beach. Soft sand, warm sea, plenty to interest beachcombers and the best coconut shrimp on the island a short wander away! Can get a little busy on cruise ship days but on a quiet day my favourite beach on Antigua.

The beach was not crowded at all. There was probably a total of 35 people mid day. The views where what you would expect from a carribean getaway. You can rent a chair and umbrella for about 20 dollars. We will be coming back on...More

I heard this was the beach to visit while we were on a recent cruise vacation. It didn't disappoint! It was beautiful. The water color was the most beautiful shade of turquoise I've ever seen. Very calm water and beautiful sand. Plenty of lounge chairs...More

Trying to visit 365 beaches within 6 days is pretty tough. I chose to spend one of my days at Valley Church Beach and had such a beautiful relaxing day. The beach was not crowded (which was perfect in my book). Had lunch and cocktails...More

Snorkling could be great once the tide is suitable...by which i mean low, otherwise it can be very cloudy and unsafe.

generally your taxi taking you out will want to bring you back. They seem very informal but are very reliable to turn up again afterwards. There will be lots of taxis ferrying people back and forth to the cruise ships!
