I would not worry about it! The bridge is quite wide so if you get nervous, you can walk in the middle of the track and not be forced to look down. I have some height issues but no worries for me here. Give it a try. You have to walk on the upper path but again, no big worries. The tram/train goes down the middle of the road so must be careful when walking that no train is coming. Not sure where to catch it but again, think it is more of a local tram than a train. Good luck! Drink LOTS of port while there...try the "green wine" "young wine" really good!
