Walked to V N Gaia through the top of the bridge, what an amazing view from Porto and Gaia, on my away back I came trough the bottom part of the bridge where lead me to shores of the river Douro with lots of street artists and bars for a chilled and relaxed drink.

Spectacular views over Porto. Two levels (at the very top of the bridge for pedestrians and a tram) and bottom level for vehicles and pedestrians. No need to pay a tour company... This attraction is free and the surrounding areas very easy to navigate. Sorry, but my photos are currently not uploading, but believe me, you will not be disappointed!

What a view from the top level of this bridge. Both levels offer a great way to cross and enjoy the view of both banks of the Douro.

Dom Luís I bridge is fantastic and it's completed by the surrounding that's the most touristic part of the city. When in Porto, have a walk on the bridge and meet both sites of the town. They are amazing.

This is a unique bridge that connects the cities of Porto and Gaia. It is a fun experience driving by this bridge. You get good views from the centre.

We walked over the bridge and as I'm scared of heights it was a bit of a challenge for me. The view was gorgeous and therefore worth it. I personally found the structure more impressive when walking underneath it but each to their own.

You can't miss it. It's by the water. And the area is tourist popular. Very pretty area. Only issue is we did not find good restaurants on the street.

Beautiful historic two story bridge connecting downtown Porto to the Port producing side of the river! Amazing photo opportunities of the bridge, and of the beautiful downtown on either side of the river!!
