Sunset walk along Douro to Lighthouse

My husband and I took a long evening walk to reach the Farolim de Felgueiras in time for sunset. To see the Atlantic Ocean waves crashing with a sunset backdrop was truly spectacular.

High Tide

Spectacular when the tides are high and the wind is blowing strong , it offers a great view of the waves crashing over the lighthouse.

Excellent views, well worth a visit away from the city

Had a lovely day in Foz and arrived by the tram and then a short walk along the coast line to the lighthouse, the swell from the ocean was large today and made for some amazing waves and Huge splashed into the walls and over the lighthouse. Great way to relax away from all the…

Worth the venture out to see

It is a bit of a journey to get out here from the main part of the city but certainly worth it. The views are great and it was nice to walk out to the end and get the spay from the fierce Atlantic Ocean waves thy crash here.
