In March, I'd been to the Lisbon sister establishment which is obviously much larger. However, this smaller version had the same variety of choices and was just as enjoyable. We were there on a rainy November afternoon, having just finished a tour of the beautiful Stock Exchange building. Upon ending the tour, we asked where the Wines of Portugal tasting room was and were informed that they had moved up the road to a separate building. It was easy to find. When we arrived, there were only a few people there, so the hostesses were able to give us personal help and offer suggestions. Friendly cashier but lacks a personal tasting feel. Good variety of wines at good prices, so definitely worth the visit.

So glad we stumbled upon this place. Joao and Cecilia couldn't be more amazing. They were so helpful with picking wines to suit our taste and using the self service machine. Love love love Porto!

Love that you could taste samples of wine in this self service bar. Great place to pop into between sight seeing. You decide the amount of money to put on the card then help yourself to tastings. Different prices depending on the wine. Was a fun experience.
