The cathedral is not so spectacular, even a bit austere. BUT you can visit a little interior museum (tickets are bought inside) which culminates with the inner yard. I have rarely seen a more spectacular azulejo work!

We also attended mass on Sunday at 11am and we were surprised when they read the gospel in English in addition to Portuguese as well as the Prayers of the Faithful.
