We dropped in here when on our way to the Palacio, intrigued by what we might find under the ramshackle roofing. Aside from the inevitable tourist stalls, fresh produce and fish were on sale, so presumably it is used enough by the locals to keep...More

I visited many markets in Europe. This one is not as charming and exciting as the others. Though one can still see the special architecture of this market, the stalls are not very attractive and the varieties are not many as well.

The market has a roof even though it feels like an open air market. Mostly fruit and produce being sold.

This is a massive space on a number of different levels. The locals flit in and out early in the morning getting the daily basics and maybe stop for a coffee or a pastel. Whilst there are a few tourist stalls they place is significantly...More
