A easy car free strolling area. Some nice old buildings. A lot of places to sit and have a drink. There are a few homeless beggars around, some where a nusince.

This road it's a walking road. You have some café and restaurants along the road. Many building need renovation some of them are actually in renovation. At night there is a part where it's very dark so not felling secure.

We thought it was ok, and there are many choices of good restaurants. When we were there, however, in early October, it was crowded and there was a lot of dust in the air from construction.

My wife and I had a gentle stroll down this narrow pedestrianized street, and certainly found it interesting, and different. We found a right mix of everything, good and not so good! There are touristy shops, building works, cafes, graffiti, beautiful architecture, and street entertainers...More

An interesting stroll down this mainly shops, cafes and restaurants, leading eventually down to the river. We used a couple of restaurants along this, both good and enjoyable.

You must walk this street at least once while in Porto. Lots of little shops, tons of action going on, few restaurants and lots of places to have snacks and drinks!

good shops, cool buildings and lots of construction and improvements being made. This street goes right towards the river.

Pretty street with gift shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Good route to choose down to the river. Musicians entertain as you stroll along.

There are lots of small, interesting shops at this place. However, the impression is somewhat interruped by the lots of vacant shops/buildings and the numerous buildings on renovation. It was more or less like visiting a building site

I'm sorry, I don't know where the hotel you identified is. Most of the street is a pedestrian street, but there are cross streets that may allow taxis to come very close.
