Our first visit to Guimaraes was enhanced by a stop at the church. It beautifully sited overlooking a wonderful park. The interior of the church is lovely. We recommend this church to anyone visiting Guimaraes.

You’ll enjoy the walk from the church to the old part of town. With it’s beautiful manicured lawns and the church is quite impressive right in the centre of the road. Definitely worth a visit.
The view of the church as you come down towards it are amazing. The green area that stretches for a couple of blocks is a nice change from all the buildings around. It's quite a narrow church compared to others I have visited in Portugal.
