The complex is huge and build upon a hill that overlooks the valley. I love those places where you can almost feel the weight of the ages. Be sure to take the map with you because on the terrain itself there is not a lot...More

Iron Age city with amazing view and even more amazing walk thru the ruins. Not a kids friendly venue - because the irregular rock path - but worthy to "give a lift" since it's impressive 3000 years city! A must do when in Guimarães!

Although I'm an archaeology buff, I can't see how you would want to miss this site. It is Celtic and Roman ruins, and offers great views of the surrounding area. It has a little visitors center with restrooms and a small cafe for beverages. You...More

Spent a most pleasant morning here on a guided tour around this archaeological site. It is a huge Hill Fort with many rooms. The views are fantastic and the Roman Bath was very interesting
