This is a peaceful garden at the back of the casa dos biscainhos and well worth visiting. Some of the structures are closed but even on a cold wet day it was very attractive

It's really worth visiting the museum that allows you to visit the house and gardens. It's in the city centre and cheap.

This is where we stayed for a rest after our morning walk. We were looking and inquiring how to get a ride in going to Sanctuario Bom Jesus. Everyone was nice and helpful. Lovely garden and shady cool atmosphere.

We visited it as part of the house tour so I don't know if you can visit it separately (cheaper) but it's a beautiful garden

A great place to visit both during summer and in the winter and there is no entrance fee.. it's a shame they closed a little early in the evening
