Did an island tour in 4 by 4s would recommend this trip very informative . You are taken round the islands highest view points and the famous golf course the guide explains all about rock formations great for children also

Wow... Amazing rock formations that reminded me of a little giants causeway. We hired a car and drove round the island taking in all the sites and this was one of my personal highlights. We had plenty of time visiting and were the only people...More

It’s not Staffa but worth visiting especially for the view northwards of the Island and the Golf club do be put off by the unmade road they always seem worse then they are

If getting to Ireland isn't an option then this is a good second place. Really interesting and curved rock formations. If you're driving it can be a little hard to find - just head to the golf club and turn right just before the entrance...More

Volcanic columns as part of the creation of the island and still visible. intersting commentary from our guide with great photos of this unusual place. Visited as part of a 4 X 4 tour which is recommended because of the guide's knowledge.

On our tour with Lazermar we visited the pico. It was a really unique sight and nice to find out about the volcanic mechanism that created it.

Worth trying to find it, there is a road up there so you don’t need to use the dirt track we ended up on with the scooters
