Popped into this church which was very nice but really enjoyed going up the tower which only cost a Euro. While going up the tower I was able to peep out at the congregation below and the ceiling only looked liked plain planks of wood....More

The Jesuits College of Funchal stands across the towns square. It has a wonderful interior with amazing sculptors and murals. For €1.00 you can climb the tower and enjoy the views of Funchal from the elevated vantage point. Well worth visiting
