Nice and relaxed rides with stunning views on Funchal.
In combination, the teleferico and botanical garden is a quite expensive trio as entrance to the tropical garden is not included.
facilities/restrooms around the premises. Despite many visitors, does not feel so crowded.
The views from here are stunning and I decided to drop into the church.
Have certainly been in more imposing churches but this one had a real air of solitude which was nice.
Not garish although not without some lovely artwork.

If you do the toboggan be carful of the taxi drivers trying to rip you off, there is a fairly regular bus back down about a 5 mins walk from the bottom of the toboggan ride (just check with the Horrarios bus company enquiries near the cable car bottom station, think it is the No 20 bus).
