Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

To me that was one of the best beach. You can access it it through various parking and then walking down some stairs. It is less crowded than most beaches in the area. And quite clean too. The area is perfect to go for a run.

Near Ericeira, look for this atlantic beach. Dramatic scenery, cliffs over
the sea. Some surfers. Succession of white sandy beaches reached on low tide. Rural and endemic vegetation. On clear days, large views as far as Roca Cape, the western most European cape. Esplanade where one can enjoy the view and sip a glass of local wine (Colares or Azenhas)

A nice place to visit with an amazing view of the cliffs and the crashing waves of the Atlantic, which is quite an experience. But watch for the tidal schedule not to get stuck anywhere under the cliff! Could have some decent toilet facilities!!!

Come here around sunset and watch surfers catch waves and the sun set in the sea. You have a beautiful view from the cliffs close to the parking lot.

We had a pleasant time on the beach. I went to use the gents behind Bar Foz de Falcoa. A previous user left the door open but then locked me in. My wife asked the bartender to unlock it. He refused to come and let me out because we had not, at that time, bought any drinks. He was excessively rude and banned my wife from the premises for complaining. After about 15 minutes he let me out. 3 He was just being an idiot. Shame anidiot spoiled a nice afternoon. I shall avoid the place like the plague. There are plenty of nice beaches along the coast where you will be treated better.

Went looking for a not so windy beach compared to others around and it was great. 100% recommended for surfers. Wouldn't advice for kids as the waves are quite strong even at the shore, although it has a sort of pond thanks to a river that comes down to the beach.

This is a very normal beach, the water is a bit cold. In the summer a lot of family's take their kids and they are a bit noisy and you may be hit whit a ball every now and them. You can also go see the rocks a bit further down the beach.
