Stopped here briefly on a tour of SIntra castle, on our way to Cascais. Tour guide told us this was one of the secret beaches in SIntra. Not sure if it is true, but is beautiful.

Lots of sand and plenty of Atlantic waves! I can sit and listen to the waves breaking on the beach for some considerable time. In the summer months there is a life guard on duty. The currents in the sea can be very strong and...More

This scenic beach is not very large, but offers spectacular views. It is also categorised as "all-access" and offers services to handicapped visitors. The only downside: the access road is very narrow and when people park their cars on the side, the traffic can come...More

Brilliant beach. If no free carpark spaces it is only €2.50 for the Day. The cafeteria is great and cheap. The beach is excellent with good waves to pit your wits against. There are lifeguards as well. Well worth a days visit.

Beautiful small beach, but a little difficult to swim especially with small children as the waves and currents may cause you some trouble. The restaurant, although it seemed very busy, didn't look at all appealing to us.

Though it is not marked in all the flyers you find and get, we think it is the best beach and we have seen them all. A nice Brazilian Waiter in the Incomum restaurant told us about this beach and we are thankful, otherwise we...More
