For those of you who like Disneyland, go ahead. For those of you who appreciate organization and dislike hoards of people and lines, don’t waste your time. Sintra has become a sell-out to tourists and without limiting visitors, it is becoming a mess.

The pricier entrance of all the big attractions in Sintra, but definitely worth the price. The palace is something from a fantasy or dreamworld. The history behind it is very cool. We went to this castle last and so by then we were pretty worn...More

I decide walk rather than get a taxi and it was a really lovely hike - mostly uphill. The trip down was definitely quicker! The palace is really lovely, such beautiful architecture.

I was there twice, I like it so much, impressive palace and beautiful park with lakes. I recommend to buy online tickets to skip really long lines. No need for additonal transfer ticket from park entry to Pena Palace, unless you feel problem with walking....More

It's one of the two castles standing on the hills above Sintra and definitely the one you should visit. Its colorful walls are magnificent and "play" with the sunlight especially if you visit before sunset. The view from above is breathtaking and after visiting the...More

No problem with buying tickets on the spot. You can also buy them in Sintra Train Station - no queues, and helpful ladies there.
