A true highlight of our trip to Portugal! The tour was personal and fun, and they told us about the history of the vineyard as well as the region and winemaking in Portugal in general. The wines were delicious, we tried 6 as well as 2 muscatel and ended up bringing home 5 bottles. 5 stars isn't enough!

Looking for a wine tour with a different! Look no further. Quinta do piloto is a wonderful experience.
We were given a tour by the lovely Filipa. We slowly learned about the process, the history but more importantly about the real love of the wines that every member of that team shared.
Wine tasting was superb. Of course we came home with a selection! Plus a fabulous moscatel!!
Congratulations/ parabéns to all
Many thanks for a beautiful afternoon

Thank you Raquel (and Helena for covering for Raquel) for the impromptu winery tour. We were very privileged to get a non- scheduled tour and will be forever grateful. We had the most fabulous afternoon visiting this winery.
We adored the wine and we absolutely loved and appreciated the whole experience....from the stories and photos of family trees and heritage and connections to the historic town festivities, to learning about the wine making traditions.... the original wine making processes and marvelling at the traditional methods still in use today... we saw original technique and set-up that were visionary at the time and remain fundamental masterpieces that produce exemplary wines still today. We thought it was a brave call to pull up at a winery with our 3 young children on our way south from Lisbon. But we were super spoilt with exposure to this way of life, farming/vineyards and we all enjoyed the very professional space set up for visitors. The children were very interested in the process from vine to bottle as Raquel was an exceptional host who held our interest and attention with all of her stories and information. They really appreciated being given a branch off a plum tree by a farmer/caretaker, where they must have eaten at least 8 wonderfully juicy ripe plums each, straight from the picking. A talented, passionate group of people where the love shines through in the product. Yummo! Well done Quinta do Piloto... amazing.

We visited this winery on a sunday morning (very good they are opened on a sunday!). The tour of the winery was really nice. The owner Filipe Cardoso did the tour himself and explained very well all the processes. The winery is very beautiful and the view is very amazing.
Of course the wines are good, we especially would like to mention the white wines made from the Roxo grape.

We visited this winery as part of the Happy Travels Azeitao Private Experience. Ana showed us around this very quaint and traditional family winery. Ana took the time to explain each stage of the wine production process while walking us around the apparatus used. Ana was very engaging and knowledgeable about wine and the history of the winery. We even had the chance to taste the grapes due to be harvested. The wine tasting was great, we purchased a red. Definitely recommend for an enjoyable and well explained tour.

Celebrating my wife's birthday, we took the full tour with a following wine taste session. We very much enjoyed the tour and to get to know the history of this 70-year old vineyard. Excellent guide! The wine tasting after the tour was well organized in a very nice setting, and we enjoyed most of the wines. Especially so the Reserva Palmela with periquita.

We had such a nice time with Marta in Quinta do Piloto vineyard. She took us to a tour, told us interesting stories about the history of this winery and about the winemaking itself. She's just an expert and a lovely person. After the tour we had a perfect tasting moment with delicious tapas. The winery is totally worth of visiting! We hope all the best for Marta and to Quinta do piloto vineyard.

Very interesting - Ana took us through each stage of the wine process, showing us the equipment used and giving us a feeling for the history of the business. The process is the original one and, as such, manages to keep its carbon footprint small. We also had the opportunity to taste some very nice wines indeed, noting the differences between them. Set on the outskirts of picturesque Palmela, the vineyard is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Well worth a visit.

We actually stumbled upon this vineyard by accident, how lucky we're we! The absolutely beautiful location and great wines make for a perfect visit. The tour was given by one of the family members who have a very passionate tour. Highly recommend!

Came here on spec but sadly couldn’t do a wine tasting as there was a large group booked in. However the lady behind reception let us try some wine. We tried a white wine which was very crisp and also tried the two Muscatel. The wines were lovely, so much so we purchased a bottle of white wine and a bottle of the Roxo Muscatel.
