If you're in the village be sure to go in to see this. It's small but lovely. Very typical European church. Each one has something special. This one has quite a bit of gold leaf and the altar is lovely.
This is a 12th century church and well worth visiting. Suffered from an earthquake in the 1500's. also an interesting story of a wedding for the future king when he was 10 years old and to his 8 year old cousin.
My family definitely enjoyed visiting the church but we had a lot of questions and did not have anyone to answer them. So we spent the day reading and looking on own. To good thing the church had information written on all of it exhibits....More
