The church doesn't look like much from the outside (it had scaffolding on when we visited), but the interiors are amazing. It has ornate blue and white tiles all around the walls and the ceiling has colourful tiles too. You won't regret it.

We’ve been visiting local churches and monasteries along our trip through Portugal. We’ve noticed each one has its own individual characteristics from the medieval times. So, with that being said be sure to bring your camera as there are many photo opportunities to capture.
A lovely 12th century church once built on the site of a mosque. The outside of the church is rather ordinary but inside is very pretty with its 17th century Portuguese blue & white tiles. It’s worth a visit to look inside.
