A super way to explore Lisbon. Cheap quick and efficient. Well worth the money and saves loads on taxi fares etc. Plenty of shops within the stations and the train themselves are clean with plenty of seats.

Very few stations on the Lisbon Metro are worth getting off at just to admire in their own right, but this one is definitely worth a look for the unusual (if not exactly beautiful) design.

This colorful metro station on the red line was the beginning point of our Lisbon explorations. It was here where we purchased our VIVA viagem cards and filled them with metro tickets in the upper part of the station. Unlike other Lisbon metro stations, the...More

Whilst it might be an attractive station,I found the metro difficult to use.Particularly the lack of travel information.Difficult to know if you are on the right line. Some ticket machines at the airport were only in Portuguese.Really silly.

A nice station on the red line. Worth a visit if you are into public transport. Clean, spacious and colourful.

An incredible metro station. On the red line and well worth a visit just to see the colours. Like all the other Lisbon metro stations it is impeccably clean but none of the other stations compare to this one.

If you are traveling with the red line metro to the Parque das Nacoes you will pass Olaias. This is the most beautiful metro station I have ever seen, so we stopped there on our trip back to the Avenida. It was built by the...More
