This small quiet square does not have overly much to recommend it (although artists may like the Pillory statue and mosaic cobbles), except perhaps its history given that it houses Paços do Concelho de Lisboa.

This is a small, formal looking square in the Chiado Bairro, between the Time Out market and the much larger Commercial Plaza. The square is fringed by well kept, mostly 3, 4 & 5 story apartments & office buildings which adds to its formal feel....More
The open squares are some of the best features of this dynamic city and great ways to see the town and its architecture. This is a great example.

We stumbled upon this square while they were playing music. Very nice. The square is clean surrounded by restaurants.
A very pretty square in the center of the Baixa Chiado, near the water. Trams run through. Restaurants and bars nearby. Classic architecture.
Going back to this square it has not changed at all and remained not very interesting. However, its surroundings are still nice for an evening on the town or just for a stroll.
This is a decent and central square in Lisbon and while not being particularly interesting, its surroundings provide a nice place for an evening stroll and dinner.
Good value for parking in this area! Conveniently located, easy to find and easy assess to all main roads from here also!
