Amazing in every way
Sep. 2019 • Couples
We ate here on a visit to Lisbon- our local airbnb host suggested it. Half the food was vegetarian and delicious. It’s “typical Portuguese food” but very fresh and lots of wonderful flavors. There was a dish with potatoes, greens, cabbage... And cod to go with it. So yummy. There was a cauliflower and potato dish with spicy meat and sauce, yellow curry chicken, spinach lasagna, rice, fruit and more. A salad bar side with chickpeas, cheese, this totally simple but delicious tomato salad in a vinaigrette and other veggies too. The service was fantastic. We ordered a chocolate mousse type dessert and espresso plus a bottle of wine and it was 45€. Such a deal! Not to mention how absolutely lovely the space itself is. You won’t be disappointed!

Great food!
Aug. 2019
Rua da Rosa is a buffet style restaurant with a home cooking feel. A plate costs 14.50 euro and it’s all you can eat. Everything I tried was delicious. It is quality for the price and not a tourist trap. I would highly recommend.

Family Dinner while visiting Lisbon
Jul. 2019 • Family
After searching for a good place to dine, we decided on Mexican and were not disappointed with our choice. We started with enchiladas, and on the menu they were listed as hot, we found them to be spicy but very delicious. The staff were very willing to cater to our request. Overall a very nice restaurant and would highly recommend.

Family-friendly, delicious, great selection of food!
May 2019 • Family
Buffet style food.Portuguese dishes, meat, vegetarian or fish. Great presentation and hygiene. Dishes topped up regularly, very fresh. Soup and salads too. Drinks are extra, good selection of wine. Kids are welcomed very warmly. This was unexpectedly our best meal in Lisbon! Sandra and Ricardo were super nice and professional! Restaurant atmosphere, suitable for a nice date or dinner with friends, but our kids were respected too and felt very well! Cosy, candle lit interior in a beautiful part of old town. Very recommended, good value for money too! Come in early (7) if you don't want to wait for a table

Not A Must Do But Probably Will Do
Dec. 2017 • Couples
This is not a must do but it's somewhere you'll most likely pass through. This street is home to my favourite restaurant Rosa Da Rua, so I passed down here a few times. I wouldn't want to be alone walking down here. It felt a little run down and unsafe. There was a few bars and restaurants but it wasn't really popping.

Heart of Barrio Alto
Nov. 2017 • Solo
This is the center of Barrio Alto, one of Lisbon's most picturesque neighborhoods, quiet and charming by day, full of drinking and dining by night. Lovely architecture.
