Great view cheap beer

Great place to chill out and take in the view of the waterfront etc. Dusty crowded but a good vibe. Beer kiosk serves cold beer and wine at a decent price.

This Miradouro despite the wonderful view to the river and the sunset also has an amazing environment, which is created by the people in there. You can find locals, tourists, young and old and they all make this place to stay for long. The majority is having their beers or wine, cigarettes, listening to live music, chatting, talking.. We liked... More

Unfortunately, it has become a filthy and overcrowded location, no longer what it once was in 2010 when it was brand new.

If you are looking for a Miradouro for the typical sunset you have to come here. You will look over the roofs of the city to the riverside. I personally didn't like it because it was full up of people drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes and all is looking a bit dirty and down- at -heel.

I've been living in Lisbon a couple of months and had never seen this Miradouro before! One reason is because the view is a bit different to the others- over the river rather than the main sights of the city. So, if you're a tourist and you are picking one view this isn't the one I'd pick. However, if you... More

Miradouro de Santa Catarina is the greta Bairro Alto view point. There's a cafe if you need a break after the climb.

There are miradouros offering better views of the city but sunset at Santa Catarina, under the statue of Adamastor, is the best! And there's some live music almost every afternoon. And it's completely safe!!

It might not be the best view point in Lisboa, but it is an unique place. Especially for young people. For the morning, the midday, the afternoon, the evening. It is my favourite place, in order to relax and enjoy your beer (there is also a kiosk with very reasonable prices!)

We stopped here in the evening on our way to Bairro Alto. Amazing views across the Tejo and the ponte 25 April. Worth the steep climb!

Nice views of the river and bridge, but also seemed the haunt of undesirables and we didn't hang around. Many nicer places for views.
