We were there in Oct. this place was recommended by our tuc-tuc driver. I had lots of Ginja in Portugal. This was easily the best.

Small hole in the wall- actually at bottom of stairs to upper level road/restaurants Fast and efficient If you need chocolate you can get half sized drink in edible cup

Had a few too many shots at this 'Taverna' in Rossio square. Really good stuff. Been here before, surely be back for more. You get a choice of ,with the fruit or without the fruit ! Outstanding quality n taste !!

We always stop in on our visits to Lisbon, just like the many others that live in Lisbon do on a daily basis and have a Ginjinha (with or without) the cherry in the glass.

Recommended by the tv cook Anthony Bourdain who recently passed away unfortunately. Any recommendations from him are worth a try and when you’re in for something sweet and alcoholic this is the right stop before you climb one of the hills in Lissabon.
