Lisbon by Segway is not the conventional Segway tour. We are the newest, biggest, coolest, cheapest and MOST MODEST Segway tour company in town.We are local guys who love to show you their city. Lisbon is not just its monuments.. Lisbon is it´s...more
It was really perfect, our guide André C was so cool. Segway is a great great way to visit the city. We did that the first day of our stay in lisbon, It was great to have an overview of the city before exploring more...More
Had a great time sightseeing and learning about the rich history of Lisbon while on our Segways. Lisbon is anything but flat, waking up and down the streets to see the city highlights would have been exhausting! This was truly the best way to see...More
We learnt how to drive the Segway in a few minutes and afterward we really enjoyed the tour.
Sala, our guide, provided the group with some interesting information about medieval Lisbon passing by historical locations and monuments.
But the really funny part was driving the...More
A very good way to see Lisbon, especially with a teenage son who loved it (he would have been grumpy if we walked the city:-)) . Got to see some of the old areas, learned some history, and ended with a drink and some snack.
The tour was fun and a good mix of history of the city and cruising on the Segway. Our tour guide Antonio(Tony) was fantastic. He was knowledgeable of the city and had a great sense of humor. Catered the tour to our tastes. I highly...More
Have been on similar tours in other European cities and this was really poor. The guide was disinterested and only stopped three times, and then only briefly to tell us the name of the place. 90 min tour was finished in 60 and when we...More

Hello Patrick B,
Thank you for your review but in this particular case we can’t consider your words since we don’t have any tour which lasts 90 min.
What we conclude is that you’ve made the tour with another company, not ours, and this evaluation...More
This company is part of Boost Urban Thrills ( see other reviews). We booked the 3 hour taste of Lisbon tour and our guide (João) was charming, local, knowledgeable, entertaining, attentive and careful ( there are some exciting steep, narrow and cobbled passages). The stops...More
I had done this tour 4 years ago with my company. Now once more with the family.
We had a bit of a challenge with some family members who were first a bit nervous. But the tour guide (Bento) did an excellent job in making...More
So much fun. Great way to see so many different parts of Lisboa that cars can not get to. Our guide was truly a walking encyclopedia. He was filled with knowledge beyond belief. Absolutely had the best time!
A MUST DO !!
We were a family group of seven for a 2 hour private tour . Half of the group had never been on a Segway and they were made comfortable quickly . Lisbon is challenging place to get around but the Segway makes sense. We made...More
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the
imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
Hi I think the minimum age is 13. I think there may be another tour operator who may take younger children. They are quite strict if they have doubts - I had to show my son's passport as he's small for 13.
When you register, I would encourage you to let them know vegetarian concerns. I suspect it will not be an issue as long as you are not vegan. We had plenty of stops / rests and were able to see a lot more of Lisbon than... More
When you register, I would encourage you to let them know vegetarian concerns. I suspect it will not be an issue as long as you are not vegan. We had plenty of stops / rests and were able to see a lot more of Lisbon than we would have if we were on "foot". Despite (me) having just come out of a boot from a foot fracture, we did not feel it was tiring at all. Actually, our group was "bummed" when the tour ended. . . we were all having such a BLAST!! We HIGHLY recommend doing Lisbon by Segway! (we are in our mid 50s).
