This is a fantastic museum having collections that are very interesting. The displays are dramatic and very well curated. Besides the restaurant has a fantastic Sunday brunch with views of the river and the docks..with an awesome spread that will leave your appetite well sated.

Art and artifacts testify to the trade/political relationships between Portugal and the colonies. One of the best ways to understand Portuguese history. Explanations are very thoughtful. Beautiful, too

A nice collection, but the building was a bit out of the way, so you really need to invest some time to visit. Once you're there it's very enjoyable though.
