I find this viewing point nicer than at the Miradouro da Graça because it’s higher. You can even see the Miradouro da Graça a bit below to your left. On a clear day you can sit or lay down and relax and enjoy the view. There can even be someone playing some music which makes it even better. Bring a... More

One of Lisbon's best view that more than worth a visit. A cozy and little old church completes the visit of this pitoresque place. Please take tram 28 to Graça.

Great views and there is a lovely little cafe so you can have a rest while taking in your surroundings. I had a hot chocolate which was really thick - i had to eat it with a spoon. I digress, anyway we reached this viewpoint by taking the funicular from the square where the Hard Rock Cafe is. Its a... More

The best mirador of Lisboa without a doubt, just be prepared to walk up a steep hill! Also, it's a bit of a walk (about 20 minutes) outside of the center and if you don't feel comfortable walking through neigborhoods or asking for directions, maybe go to one of the miradores in the center of the city. Worth the walk... More

In addition to being the highest place in Lisbon, this is the best spot you'll ever had to stare at the city. Yes the Castelo São Jorge is a nice place to see for people fond of History, nevertheless the fantastic view on the castle from this point of view deserves five stars. You can observe about 70% of the... More

You really can see a large portion of Lisbon from here. If you buy a bottle of wine, meat and cheese, it makes for a perfect sunset location. There are other places in the city that are better if you're willing to be a part of a crowd, which if you're going here you should be.

Its a steep walk up to the viewpoint but well worth it for the views across to the castle , town below and the river and suspension bridge .

Of all the amazing viewpoints in Lisbon this has to be my favourite. My girlfriend and I reached this via a number of other, previously visited viewpoints climbing up the hills through Alfama and it was definitely worth it. Great views over the city, castle, and even out towards the Tejo and beyond!

Our tour guide swore that this spot had the best views in all of Lisbon. We think he was correct. You can see everything from St. Jorge Castle to the roof scape of the city. Romantic spot at night as well.

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
