Smaller tram than Gloria, longer trip

Quite a cosy, small tram, and the round trip cost more than our round trip to Belem by train, but its an experience. Sadly the tram itself was covered in graffiti.

This funicular follows a steep side street and as such, offers no real view either during the ride or once at the top. The one advantage it does have over the other funiculars is that one car is always in a locked station out of hours so this car has no graffiti on it. Wait for it at the bottom,... More

Our Viagem cards meant this short trip was included - €3.60 would have been quite expensive for the trip on its own - and it was definitely worth it. The kids loved it and the views were great at the top.

Would recommend not to ride but to go down, better at sunset. The view is picturesque, and you will not be tired.

Thisis for those who like myself hate walking uphill!!! It's kind of costly at 3.60€ however it was worth it when i walk downhill and realized how painful this would be....! It takes you up to Bairo Alto!

I suppose this is helpful if you don't want to walk up and down the hills, but the view isn't that great. It's pretty obscured by the buildings and/or the conductor. I'd skip it unless you just want to rest your feet for a minute or two.

We tried all 3 of them + the lift, and I would rate them like this: 1. Ascensor da Lavra (because of the topside entrance 2. Ascensor da Bica (because of the bottom entrance and the view of the ride 3. Ascensor de Gloria (well, it is just there...) 4. Santa Justa Lift It is a MUSH to have a... More

If you have a valid Viva Viagem card you cam take the Bica trip up or down. It starts not far from Mercado da Ribeira and will take you close to miradouro st. Catarina. If you don't have a valid card the trip will vost you 3.6€. Enjoy.

The Bica Elevador is quite useful to get you from the Ribera Market area to the Bairro Alto and if you have a €6 day ticket (Viva Viagem) then all the elevadors are included. Don't pay the ludicrous €3.60 for a single journey! It is a fascinating piece of kit, the two sloping cars crossing halfway up/down the impossibly steep... More

One of the oldest transport in Lisbon. There are 3 tram(Bica, Gloria e Lavra). The trip is very nice. If you pay on board is 3,60€ round trip. If you buy in subway (for example) a reusable card, it will cost 1,40€ each trip.
