Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Among the Lisbon derby we had chosen the stadium of Sporting L. A little for ease, a little because more intriguing by the team. It went wrong, I explain: the Stadium is currently a construction site (around) and the reception does not exist, half an hour in a row at the only open counter to discover that the access to the museum and stadium was on the other side, obviously no sign. Line up for your ticket to discover that tours are guided in time blocks only. So we had to wait 3 hours... Too bad because apart from the club shop everything appears left there... So we headed to Benfica Stadium (but that's another story)

Attended on a very wet Monday night, to see Bruno Fernandes last game for Sporting. The stadium is still in great shape, although you can see evidence on wear and tear on the seating. I got a seat easily enough in line with the half way line. Plenty of leg room! With the club in disarray at the moment the crowd was sparse and a distinct lack of atmosphere in the first half, where the Ultras were displaying banners. 2nd half the atmosphere improved with non stop singing from the crowd. The stadium is just a short walk from the metro station so getting to and from the ground was nice and easy.

The tour was excellent. Really putting forth the passion and energy that the club excels. Special shoutout to Ricardo for a wonderful tour and a relaxed lovely personality. The trophy room is out of this world, showcasing the variety of the club's success in various sports, as well as a touching video of the recent season for the football club. Top marks.

The stadium is built within a quite busy road network but is also only three minutes away from Campo Grande metro station. Painted in it's traditional green with giant crest and lion within it's grounds for nice photos. You can get many other exterior shots as it's possible to walk all the way around the ground itself.
Inside once again all the seating is in traditional green and it's a vast arena to look at. From the away end I was able to see all four corners of the stadium without any viewing problems and the atmosphere was very good even though the attendance was just short of 40000. It's a lovely stadium to visit.

Amazing atmosphere at the game, club shop is great and staff are friendly and helpful! The stadium has a great vibe no rough/pushing like football games in England. Don’t serve alcohol which we didn’t realise but on reflection that is perfectly fine and better to be honest! When they scored the atmosphere was amazing, have to walk up a bit to get a taxi after as roads closed so that was hard and lots of traffic on way in so bear that in mind but it was an amazing experience

A good way to visit the stadium is to attend a football match there. You can get the tickets at the official store in Augusta Av so you avoid long lines at the stadium before the match
My kids had a wonderful time and enjoyed the game. Very safe and quite environment.

I went there on the occasion of Sporting-Casa Pia on 01/29/2024 (which ended with a resounding result of 8-0 for the leões). Match seen from the second ring north with excellent views (the stands are still close to the pitch). The stadium also serves as a commercial area with a Lidl supermarket, cinema and food area inside, as well as the store of the team of the same name.
The only flaw is that you can smoke inside the stadium.

I went to see Europa league match between Sporting vs. Istanbul BB. You can get super cheap tickets through Sporting Lisbons own web pages. Stadium is very easy to reach through out the metro or bus system. If you are the football fan its a nice way to spend your evening. Prices at the stadium are super cheap..beer 2 €.

The stadium is very nice and the visit short but well managed. However, I wanted to point out that I came to visit the plant on a Friday, at 4pm, in full visiting hours. Although the site said that visits were available until 16:30, on the spot I was told that for that day the tour ended at 16. Without communication it is impossible for me to know and as a result I was forced to return two days later, fortunately without a hitch

Hello :) we are interested in attending the match vs Porto in January as we will be visiting during that period. We will be with our then three month year old son. Do we have to pay entrance fee for him? Also do you think it's safe to take him for this match given that I'm assuming it will be a hotly contested match and I am unaware of the behaviour of the Porto supporters in away matches or even the Sporting fans if they will be losing?
